TAI CHI
Instructor:  Wanda Northrup

(Minimum to run class 6)

Tai Chi helps develop balance and coordination, improves concentration and awareness and increases flexibility and strength, in both mind and body

YOGA/PILATES
Instructor:  Diann Gorea
Dates and Times: Fridays 10:00am
Cost: $35.00 non member $40
(Min to run class 7)
This program will incorporate Yoga and Pilates all in one.  Yoga is a gently stretching exercise that incorporates flexibility, strengthening, balance, coordination and relaxation.  Pilates is an innovative system of mind-body exercise that teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement.  Pilates improves flexibility, agility and economy of motion.  It can even help alleviate back pain.


RSVP GROWING STRONG
Instructor:  Jean Pierce
Dates and Times: Mondays 1:00 (14 weeks each semester) or
Thursdays 10:00am (14 weeks each semester)
Cost: $30.00 non member $35 (min to run class 5)
This course is based on research on how strength training and proper nutrition improve the health of people of all ages.  Doctor's approval is required and you will receive an approval form when you register for the program.


RSVP OSTEOPOROSIS
Instructor:  Jean Pierce
Dates and Times:  .Mondays 1:00 pm (14 weeks each semester)  or Thursdays 10:00 am (14 weeks each semester)
Cost:  $20.00 non member $25 (min to run class 5)

SILVER SNEAKERS FITNESS PROGRAM-MUSCULAR STRENGTH & RANGE OF MOVEMENT 
Dates.......Tuesday (5/13-5/12) & Friday (5/16-8/22) (No class 7/4)
Time........10:00 - 11:00 am
Cost.........$30 (Free to Silver Sneaker Members & Growing Strong Members)
Multi-level, equipment-based, total body conditioning classes are designed to increase strength and flexibility.  Participants move to the music through a variety of exercises for the upper and lower body, including skills for daily living activities.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are provided for resistance and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support

GOLF (Spring/Summer Semester)
Instructor:  Joe Leo
Dates and Times:  Monday 10:00 - 11:00 am  (10 Weeks)
Cost: $10.00
Learn the game of golf and different techniques.  Classes will begin meeting at the Parkway Senior Center and then Valley View Golf Course..

INDOOR/OUTDOOR TENNIS
Instructor:  Ed Jackson
Date and Time:  Mondays 10:00 am - 12:00 pm  
Cost:  Free to Members   Non-members $10.00
Welcome Back to Tennis!!  Enjoy tennis indoors!  With a grant from US Tennis Association we were able to purchase indoor tennis equipment!  This program will have instruction for beginners or for those who want to brush up on their skills as well as matches for those with more experience!
